commentary ng friend kong professional microbusiness marketing analyst: discounts are not that suitable for services. and, lalo na sa massage business. i'm telling you, pag nagbagsak presyo ka, mas lalo kang babaratin ng mga clients mo. siguro, pwedeng discounts for the regulars, pero for referrals? nah! and besides, i think everyone will agree when i say that your service is worth your price... in fact, you can even charge more! ganun ako ka-kampante sa service mo.

4. okay, keep the blog, pero don't accept clients na lang from the blog.

commentary ng friend kong professional microbusiness marketing analyst: did you hear what i just said kanina?

5. fine. keep the blog, pero no more "offensive" stories, para hindi maka-offend ng potential clients.

commentary ng friend kong professional microbusiness marketing analyst: and what was the purpose of the blog again? to tell stories diba? minahal ka ng readers mo because of the rawness of the blog! don't lose it just to satisfy some readers na parang ang misyon lang yata sa buhay ay ma-offend.

6. got it. how about BoyShiatsu blackout? yung tipong 1-2 months akong hindi magpaparamdam kahit kanino, tapos pagbalik ko, new and improved na! mas pogi, mas maganda katawan, mas kalibog-libog, mas kapana-panabik.

7. hmmm... pero yung improvement part, gusto ko yun. i should always improve in order for me to get more clients and retain current clients. more time sa gym, invest sa pagpapaganda ng balat at mukha, at tsaka more training sa iba't ibang uri ng massage.

and after the conversation, i came to one conclusion... ang sarap sungalngalin ng friend kong professional microbusiness marketing analyst. pero, in fairness, may mga points sya, at magaganda ang mga points nya, kasing-ganda ni Sam Pinto!

  6. good read! i love ur writing style - straight forward, catchy and full of emotions!

nyway, I suggest u follow ur friend's advice.

try to watch HUNG from HBO. Its a story of a middle aged gigolo who struggles to support his kids while keeping his professional life as a highschool PE teacher. The series fits your situation; i.e. whether to drop ur price, ur marketing strategy, do u have to get a pimp to advertise urself as a commodity. I bet u'll learn a lot!

    More power Boy Shiatsu!!!
