Game Face On!

it's been a while since nakapag-blog ako. and the reason is not because wala akong story to share (in fact, i still have a lot) pero hindi ako ma-push ng inspirations ko to write about them. until i saw an article that literally made me cry dito sa internet cafe.

New HIV cases in PH reach all-time high
By Patrick King Pascual, VERA Files

New cases of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in the country reached an all-time high of 204 in July this year, the highest number of new cases recorded by the Department of Health (DOH) in a month to date.

The virus is now infecting seven Filipinos every 24 hours, up from last year's average of five new HIV patients daily.

Tamblot: NAGTATAKA LNG AKO KUNG BAKIT ANG MGA HINAYUPAK NA YAN WALA NAMANG MATRES DUMADAMI AT NAGKAKALAT PA NG LAGIM....

They are disgrace to humanity. nakakadiri pinaggagagawa nila. I'm a Christian and we were thought to love the pokpoks and the homos. but it is so hard cause they keep on doing the same old dirty things, pathetic disgusting creatures! ugh.

Sny5ive: those damned homo's...they ought to go back in the closet...stupid hard headed creeps they're spreading the diseases in the country...

Merciless Dude: Led by none other than the gays who always shout "discrimination". Come to think of it, what good things are they contributing to humanity?

Kalayaan nga naman ang gusto ng bawat isa...kalayaan for the gays to express their love, their desire for sex with the same sex partners. Choice nyo yan eh...including ang magka AIDS dahil di naman kayo bobo (i supposed).

grabe! i really have to pause for a minute and calm myself. ganito pala talaga ka-tindi ang stigma ng hiv and aids sa bansa natin... and even more, sa gay community. para bang ang lgbt community ang may kasalanan ng nasabing sakit. and to make it more saddening, these are people who could use the internet! sila yung mga taong may access sa information at, sorry for the word, may utak. buti pa yung mga kilala kong mga tambay sa kanto, or yung mga taong tinatawag na "walang pinag-aralan," mas open sila sa nangyayari at hindi sila nangungutya ng tao. grabe.

because of this... mas umigting ang apoy sa akin to push the advocacy.

this is it! game face on!

  1. Oh my...O_O

It's just terrible. At the same time, natatangahan ako sa mga taong to, in so many levels tanga sila.

Nakakatakot ung mga comments nila, you can really feel the hatred. But at the same time, I find it irritating... annoying lump of tards.

  2. Stupid ignorant assholes. The latest statistics in the US show that the incidence of HIV among heteros have surpassed the incidence of cases among homos. Thanks to the widespread promotion of safe sex practices especially among the gay community. However I am saddened that this good tide has yet to reach our shores. I am confident that you can think of who are the culprits that has kept this dream from becoming an eventuality. Please reassess your already feeble thoughts, homophobes, and put blame to where it belongs.

  3. Mga tanga ang mga gay haters dito. if ever they claim that they are educated then I could say you are all unlearned inspite of your education. wala silbi pagtatapos ninyo dahil hindi kayo natuto.Don't u realize that gays afflicted with HIV were just magnified? hindi ninyo ba naisip that the possibility that they were inflicted by straight guys is so great? Gays don't want to have sex with their fellow gays kaya most often than not e nakukuha nila HIV sa mga straight. Gays are only open in having HIV check unlike ng mga hetero na gustong itago pagkakaroon nila ng HIV. This explains why there are more gays who have HIV in the statistics.

  5. There are two kinds of straight people in this world - the ones who hate you to your face, and the ones who hate you behind your back

  6. The comments reeks of ignorance and were full of hatred but obviously lacking in perspective and compassion. Using their own logic, if AIDS was attributable only to homosexuals, can we attribute the other myriad of diseases out there to them? Or do they even know that most of the AIDS patients in Africa are heterosexuals?

  7. It's SAD that there are really shallow minded people and we can't do anything about it. You can't please everybody and you don't have to please everybody. We're still on a long way on our battle for EQUALITY. It may or, sadly, may not come. Yes the words hurt. But what we can do is to stand-up for ourselves... for our gay-being... to be respected, if not by all, at least by some. This is a HUGE challenge for us. It can start as how this is being promoted... LOVE YOURSELF ;)

  8. tao nga naman.... are they?! hmmm... just because most of the AIDS/HIV carrier are gays, that doesn't mean that we're the ones who causes the disease... in case they don't know there are lots of "straight men/women" who also have AIDS/HIV's... it's just happen that gays were the ones who always been modified by media...

Yes victor is right, the comments that you have shown here are frightening and disturbing, specially for us gays, it feels like these people are gay hunters/killers...

and befroe sana sila magjudge, try sana nila i-recall and recognize their illness...(mind illness) and don't preach us about what GOD SAYS, because no one knows what GOD really SAYS about us HUMANS...you know nothing, Absolutely Nothing...

  10. takes two to tango. may kasalanan tayong lahat sa nangyayari - the stubborn who choose not to use protection during sex and the ignorant who continually condemn and refuse to understand/educate themselves about the disease.

baby steps, boy shiatsu. you're doing your share. that would be enough for now.
